For the second consultation, we welcome discussions between Emma Sarpaniemi and Margaret Liang. Both Emma and Margaret use self-portraits as a narrative method to convey various stories and principles. Sarpaniemi and Liang certainly won’t avoid their own eyes. They developed a room that relaxes themselves and tests, constantly redefining their own and their vision on Earth. They examine the truth around them and find elements of their identity, just viewing from a range and falling into the image.
We review their technology, masculinity and the body of women, the layering of definitions in the picture, the power of the region, and the ups and downs of becoming a musician.
