JD Twitch is half the Scottish DJ Duo Optimo (ESPACIO), which died after a medical diagnosis of Mind Cancer Cells this year. He is 57 years old this year.
The actual name of the manufacturer and DJ is Keith McIvor, which died on 19 September (19 September) at the Welsh Hospice Healthcare facility in Glasgow. His senior song companion, Jonnie Wilkes, also known as JG Wilkes, made a statement the next day using a social media site.
Wilkes wrote on Instagram: “In one of his 28 years of collaboration, we changed my life and several people were lucky enough to discover our work.” “I’m forever grateful for everything he really has to offer me as a friend and friend of the song.”
He continued: “Keith’s permanent strength and interest, songs, creative thinking and favorable adjustments will never be kicked back. His personal thoughts and our cumulative resilience is solid. I like him for that.”
Wilkes ended his whole heart by sharing his approval with McVoeu’s friends and family.
He wrote: “Thank you so much for them and actually keeping up with Keith and the development teams that have been with each other over the past few months. Thank you so much for the staff at the Hospice, this is the last benefit.” “Keith left us too early. He was most likely to travel to those rooms, but I recognize that his abilities are still people who everyone recognizes him. I love you Keith forever.”
Born in Edinburgh, McIvor established an important club night in the 1990s and was called before relocating to Glasgow. There, he fulfilled Wilkes and in 1997 introduced Optimo at the lower club in the city. After the 1983 track, Optimo was called a major occasion on Sunday night, holding LCD Soundsystem, Franz Ferdinand, Cut Cople, Rapture, Rapture, Rapture, Television, TV and warm chips on TV. Weekly celebrations continue until 2010.
As Optimo (Espacio), McIvor and Wilkes are recognized for their well-curated and often exceeding the right form, among global celebrations and clubs. The duo remained energetic in touring, songmaking and document labeling.
In July 2025, McIvor publicly disclosed his medical diagnosis and sharing of the disease on Instagram. Optimo’s account actually also introduces a fundraising program to help pay for exclusive treatments and auxiliary solutions.
“My signs and symptoms are not quickly identified, my health and wellbeing has dropped rapidly,” McIvor wrote in an Instagram blog post. He still wants to thank everyone for “from the pure days of Edinburgh in the 90s to the past 28 years of optimizing (Espacio) (Espacio) (Espacio) (Espacio) (Espacio) (Espacio) songs.”
