Amyl & The Sniffers made a stark statement against Bob Vylan and Kneecap in Glastonbury in 2025, accusing their media of misrepresenting the scope of their statements.
The Australian hard rock band launched an Instagram story on Monday (July 1), slamming the British media’s “crazy” consists of political speeches, especially against the protections of Bob Vylan and Kneecap.
“The British media actually fell in love with Bob Vylan and Kneecap, but the musicians talked at the Glastonbury stage, from pop to rock, rap, to punk to punk, and there was a different banner on every streaming scene,” the band formed. “Trying to make it look like many separate occasions and a few ‘negative bands’, so it seems that the public is not immune to the road as before, trying to make Bob and Kenneecap look at once, not the state actually changes a lot, and individuals have actually been following our federal government.”
They continued: “If you are not going to do national politics in songs, don’t condemn artists, condemn political leaders and journalists and political landscapes in general, because there is no job and will surely be more and more [this] Until it exits. “
The statement is the punk rap duo who elicited a yell denouncing the IDF after Bob Vylan’s suspicious efficiency in Glastonbury. The BBC later verified that it “should delete” the online program without duplicating the program. Irish rap band Kneecap obeyed Vylan during the West Holtz stage, swung the Palestinian flag and made his own comments in their scenes.
Amyl & The Sniffers (also executed in the celebration) offer their own political nature. During this stage of enthusiasm, the people who hosted Amy Taylor used the system to review immigration, Australia’s therapy for Indigenous people, and the importance of political expression. “They want us to close FK,” Taylor told the group. “Because if we think about Palestine and then go home in Australia, we’ll think about the indigenous people there…it’s really a rebellion.”
Their speech received amazing praise, and speech clips were widely flowing online – although in particular they didn’t have the level of media objection like Bob Vylan or Kneecap.
Glastonbury In 2025, a wave of unsupported claims among musicians across the category can be seen at almost every important stage. The habits of pop songs, punk, liberal and dance scenes have unity, some of which require them to see the passiveness of the federal government and the silence of the media on repeated disputes in Gaza.
Amyl & The Sniffers’ statements include musicians who use the system to speak, similar to changes in online song celebrations, which greatly aroused opposition and appeal. The band’s message is clear: they support avid musicians and certainly won’t get out of the battle of responsibility and recognition.
