In Hong Kong, an Art Scene Grows in an Industrial Area

Wong Chuk Hang’s solid character also attracts brand new enthusiasts.

“I barely had a conversation with the large gallery,” Yuri van der Leest said. “It’s so energetic and passionate. ”

He said he owns about 160 works of art, made up of three-quarters of Hong Kong musicians, and Mak2.

Jennifer Yu, a legal representative, started collecting Oriental Modern Art a year ago – Mak2’s work is also in her collection – claiming that Wong Chuk Hang’s gallery is “extra open” to brand new and young lovers like her (such as herself). “It’s more comprehensive than the city’s main galleries,” she said.

Yu’s interest in art continues to grow, while accompanying his mom to a public auction, claiming that some larger galleries may terrify brand new enthusiasts. She included: “The younger generation wants to understand art, not just treat it as a property.”

Maier says her career does begin after the start of her personal program at De Sarthe in 2019 Just recently demonstrated her organization and crucial success.

“For a long time, I couldn’t make a living as a musician,” she said. “It was actually like I was getting a huge reward.”
