Every year, organizer Raulávila solves a complex task every year: changing the Met Gallery to the amazing miracle of the year Met Gala. In Camp: Style Notes 2019, he developed a 25-foot-tall, stunning flamingo core with 30,000 flowers. In 2018, he developed the Pope’s Crown’s Rose Entertainment “Celestial Bodies: Style and Catholic Creative Imagination”. These are just examples of flower development: in 2007, “Poiret: The King of Style,” he filled with a luxurious bird cage filled with real-time peacocks. When a person leaves, the chaos includes it. He remembers: “Everyone in the gallery was chasing her and taking her back into the cage.”
Each game brings a journey: In 2013, Ávila and his team flew around from a London lamp and controlled it with a razor as the annual punk-themed circus “Celestial Sphere” saw the excellent staircase of the metropolitan area with countless candlelights. After that, there are table settings: For example, in 2019, see a table with bamboo cutlery, feathered lampshade, flower panels and stunning pink table linen.
2023’s Soirée, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Beautiful Scenery”, honors Chanel’s imaginative director in an ornamental way. The sacred residents showcase scenes comparable to those of the Lagerfeld family members’ collections, while the dining table scenery brings visual advice to his famous wedding party at Paloma Picasso. Meanwhile, in 2024, I saw Ávila and style Unique occasion groups turn the holy land of trees into charming woodlands.
This year’s occasion – “Superfine: Cut Black Design” – will surely hang on May 5. So until then, from Chanel-themed Soiree’s latest organization in 2005 to 2024, Met Gala Interiors spins for many years.
