“So I just listened to me and got 8 VMA elections,” the singer claimed in a video clip posted on her Instagram story a few hours after the introduction. “I was surprised, I really didn’t realize what to say. I definitely had no words! It was a crazy day! Wow! Wow! Actually, crazy! What happened! What happened! What happened?!”
She also shared screenshots of the election and composed: “waaaahhh?!!”.
This is actually the first time that the K-Pop celebrity has been selected as a solo musician by VMA. She is joining the annual video editing, collaboration of the year, ideal pop music, ideal description, ideal artistic description and ideal aesthetic influence, all of which apply to Signboard Hot 100 No. 3 No. 3 hit “APT”. Bruno Mars and the most effective k-pop “til til end”, her third single on her personal CD release Rosie
Her 8 elections actually made her one of the most chosen musicians of the year. Girl Gaga leads with 12, while her “house”. Partner Bruno Mars captured 11, Kendrick Lamar proposed 10 factors, Sabrina Woodworker had 8 more factors, and Ariana Grande and weekend breaks were 7.
Rose’s band participants were also selected: Jenny’s “Like Jenny”, Jenny’s “Earthquake” and Lisa’s “Rebirth” all competed for the most effective K-pop. These elections are the first solo VMA response from Jennie and Jisoo outside of Blackpink.
On Sunday, September 7, 2025, the MTV VMA broadcasts CBS and MTV at UBS Field in New York City at 8 p.m. ET. The program will definitely stream on Paramount+.
